Gran Fondo KOMORO (Course change on May 12, 2022)

Starting from Komoro, make one lap around the Asama foothills (96.3km). It is a full-scale mountain Gran Fondo with an altitude of 1929m.
・ Time limit: 9 hours
・Eligibility: Junior high school students and above. However, junior high school students need parental consent

Round trip from Komoro to Karuizawa.

(distance 40km gain altitude 650m). It's a cycling course.

[Tournament Terms]

Gran Fondo KOMORO Tournament Rules

1. I will pay close attention to my own health management, follow all the rules, regulations, and instructions established by the organizer, handle any accidents that occur at the event and incidental events at my own responsibility, and host the event. I swear that I will not blame or hold responsible for the person, manager, participants, and related parties. This does not change even if the accident is caused by the organizer. I also confirm and accept that the guarantee to me is within the scope of the damage insurance for the event.

2. I agree to take full responsibility for my personal belongings and equipment during the event and incidental events, and not to hold the event organizer or other competitors responsible for loss, damage, etc. To do.

3. I agree that I have no objection to the event being canceled or changed due to strong winds, heavy rain or other deterioration of weather conditions, natural disasters, incidents, accidents, etc.

4. I accept that my participation will be canceled if there is a false declaration of age, gender, vehicle type, etc., or if someone other than myself participates (illegal participation).

5. I will verify the safety of my bicycle (self-inspection) before riding, maintain it so that it can be ridden safely, and ride safely while understanding the course and road conditions on the day. I also agree that if I do not do a self-inspection, my participation will be cancelled.

6. I agree that the entry fee will not be refunded if I cancel or change my entry after applying for 3, 4, or 5 above.

7. I agree to freely use my name and photo in broadcasts, websites, printed materials, etc. related to the tournament.

8. During the event and incidental matters, always wear a helmet and gloves when riding a bicycle.

9. All the items described in the application documents submitted to this competition are authentic.

10. Personal information acquired in this competition will be used for the purpose of running the competition. In addition, the event organizers, sponsors, cooperators, and affiliated organizations of the event may also use the information to disseminate information on related events.

11. I swear that if I am under the age of 18, I will participate with the consent of a parent or guardian.

12. I swear that I will abide by the dress code established by the competition.

 

 

 

[Dress Regulations]

・Be sure to wear a helmet and gloves when riding a bicycle.

・It is recommended to wear cycling clothes with motifs of anime, manga, games, and other content, characters, and original characters.

・If the intellectual property rights of others are used in the design of cycle wear or cosplay costumes, it is expressed to the participants that the design of the jerseys or costumes is based on legitimate title. I will assume that you have received it.

・If necessary, the customer is requested to obtain prior permission from the administrator of the copyright or trademark rights.

・In the case of cosplay costumes, decorations must be placed on the helmet.

・If your cosplay costume is sleeveless, please wear skin-colored clothing.

・The length of the cosplay costume should be above the kneecap to prevent wheels from getting caught.

・Please refrain from participating in costumes that are offensive to public order and morals, or that depict extreme sexual expressions or violent scenes.

・If you drop the parts attached to the costume, we will judge that there is a danger to other participants and cancel the participation.

・If the organizer or event operator determines that your clothes are inappropriate, you will be asked to stop running until the clothes are corrected. Please be forewarned.

・If you do not follow the instructions of the organizer, you will be forced to leave the venue. In that case, the entry fee will not be refunded.

 

 

 

Special Regulations for Preventing the Spread of Infectious Diseases

 

This agreement is a rule that stipulates matters and precautions that participants must comply with as a countermeasure against infectious diseases when participating in Gran Fondo KOMORO.

Please understand and agree to the following terms before applying.

(1) The elderly and those with underlying diseases have a high risk of becoming severely ill with COVID-19, and if they are asymptomatic infected people, they may cause secondary infection to other participants. Please participate after recognizing that there is a possibility.

(2) The event organizer may provide personal information to third parties who need such information, such as public health centers and medical institutions, in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

(3) In order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the event organizer may cancel the participation of participants, ask them to wait at the venue, or ask them to leave the venue.

(4) We strongly recommend using the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's new coronavirus contact confirmation application "COCOA".

(5) If a participant or a close contact of a participant is found to have contracted an infectious disease within two weeks after the event, please contact the organizer immediately.

(6) The organizer will implement measures to prevent infection, but will not be held responsible for any infection or close contact with an infected person (including any damages incidental to this) during the event. We do not owe.

(7) The organizer will take out insurance against accidents such as injuries and illnesses only on the day of the event, but plagues, novel coronavirus infections, etc. will not be covered.

(8) Participants will be asked to refrain from participating if any of the following apply. In either case, the participation fee will not be refunded.

□ Fever of 37.5 degrees or higher

□ If you have cold symptoms such as coughing, phlegm, or sore throat

□ If you feel tired or short of breath

□ If you feel abnormal in your sense of smell or taste

□ If you have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19

□ If there is a suspected infection among family members or close acquaintances living together

□ If you have an underlying disease such as diabetes and are concerned about your physical condition

□In the past 14 days, if you have traveled to a country, region, etc. where the government has imposed immigration restrictions or requires an observation period after entry, or have had close contact with a resident of the country.

(9) If you do not cooperate with the following, we may cancel your participation or ask you to leave the venue. In either case, the participation fee will not be refunded or compensated.

□ If you do not follow the instructions of the organizer for hand washing and hand disinfection

□ If you do not wear a mask in the venue except while driving

□ If the attendant of the participant does not wear a mask in the venue

□If you do not take your trash home with you on the course, etc. (there are no trash cans). In addition, when leftover sports drinks, etc. are discarded at the venue or on the street

(10) In order to confirm the possibility of infection with the new coronavirus, all participants may be tested as specified by the organizer.

(11) We do not accept baggage. In principle, we will not accept any items left unattended in the event area. In principle, all items left unattended in the tournament area will be discarded.

(12) School lunches on the course are planned to be provided in individual packages, and the types and quantities are limited. Please prepare your own nutritional supplements as needed.

(13) At the venue, please wash your hands frequently and use alcohol to disinfect your hands.

(14) Keep your distance from other people as much as possible at the venue. When guiding or assisting people with disabilities, please keep as much distance as possible from other people at the venue. (Except when guiding or assisting people with disabilities)

(15) Except in an emergency, please refrain from talking or cheering in a loud voice at the venue or on the course during the race.

(16) When eating or drinking, wash your hands and use hand sanitizer, keep your distance from others, avoid face-to-face contact, and refrain from talking. Also, please do not share or mix.

(17) On the day of the event, please comply with other measures decided by the organizer to prevent infection and follow the instructions of the organizer.

(18) Those who do not comply with the participation conditions and infection prevention measures required by the organizer will be disqualified. In this case, the participation fee will not be refunded.

(19) Other than entry fees Any fees other than entry fees (travel expenses, accommodation expenses, etc.) will not be refunded or compensated for any reason.
